This morning you will depart from Darwin airport on your chartered flight to Groote Eylandt (approx 1.30hrs), the largest island in the Gulf of Carpentaria and the fourth largest island in Australia. It is the homeland of, and is owned by, the Warnindhilyagwa People, who speak the Anindilyakwa language. On arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your accommodation.

Today you will explore by 4×4, learning of the past and present day culture of Groote Eylandt. This morning, you will farewell Groote Eylandt and fly back to Darwin. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The next two days will have you experiencing all that Bullo River Station has to offer. Get to work and learn how to check bores and test your riding skills as you mount an experienced horse and join the cattle muster (subject to conditions). Hike to beautiful waterfalls and natural pools. *lick runs,*? Milk runs? Visit sacred indigenous rock art sites. Slow down and relax with some bird watching or throw in a line and see who gets the biggest catch! You may also have the opportunity to work with visiting ecologists from the Australian Wildlife Conservancy.
